I am a Namibian, currently living in London and about to relocate to Stockholm with my Swedish husband. My aim is to find a position within communications - incorporating public relations and social media - in Stockholm that will allow me to use my international skills, ingrain myself in the Swedish culture and challenge me into new ways of doing what I've been doing across three continents over the past eleven years.

I've worked with over 50 international companies, including CMO's from Fortune 500's, and my team and I have launched some of South Africa's largest upscale consumer brands. I was in-house Director of Public Relations for one of New York's highly-regarded interior designers and discovered there a love for beautiful design. On a personal level I have done extensive traveling around the world while residing in various places including Cape Town, New York, London and – from 1 June 2012 – Stockholm, Sweden.

The bulk of my communications experience has been in communicating the intrinsics of consumer brands to the end-user through a variety of creative channels including traditional PR tactics to modern social media tools – using my strong interpersonal skills to build networks that benefit from my grasp of the communication requirements of individual ranges within the master brand.

I have run my own successful niche communications agency ( over the past two years. Clients include the British interior designer Nicky Haslam (, the New York interior designer Vicente Wolf ( and the Swedish-based HR firm, Kandidata, for whom I strategized the communications for their roll out in Asia – see Over the past year I’ve additionally been in the roll of Communications Director for Timesulin ( for whom I’ve managed communications, all social media, key opinion leaders and content strategies.

An ability to successfully manage the roll out of strategic plans is supported by evidence like increased agency retainers and ongoing client relationships - with clients even following me and my team to new agencies. I'm confident that my in-depth understanding of cultural and societal differences, my ability to present highly complex concepts in a user-friendly format, combined with my ability to think strategically, a definite creative flair and finely tuned communications skills makes me an excellent candidate for positions that deal with international communications and brands.

I learn fast, I thrive in a team-oriented environment, I pay attention to details, and I work very hard. Oh, and I speak Afrikaans, English and German fluently – my Swedish enrollment at SFI will start as soon as I set foot in my new home.

I am a blogger, ferocious reader, expert knitter, bargain shopper and globetrotter and like to believe that I truly live a social media life – necessary when one has friends and family scattered over three continents.

Vicente Wolf

When Susan Moolman and I met in 2007 I was unaware of the power of emerging marketing trends and how they could be utilized to connect with my clients, brand advocates and fellow designers.

During the two and a half years we worked together, Susan combined new technologies with traditional PR & communications tools to carve out a new communications platform for us, firmly establishing the Vicente Wolf brand at the forefront of social media technologies. She created a blog that has garnered a tremendous following with loyal readers that opened up opportunities and new contacts that didn’t exist before I entered the world of digital communications and we startedTweeting together.

After 37 years in the interior design industry I was already established as an interior designer, but with Susan’s help I am now referred to as an established interior designer AND blogger by some of the top publications in my field. My blog has around 20,000 readers a month (and counting…) and is read by people in 102 countries around the world. Readers spend an average of 3 minutes per visit on my site and I have used my social media network to help successfully launch my third book, Lifting the Curtain on Design, leading to well over 4,000 pre-launch sales.

For my Manhattan showroom VW Home, we maintain communications with other design aficionados from all over the world via our Facebook fan page and in the comments section of my blog. I also have my own personal Facebook Fan Page where I connect with people from all over the world on an informal level.

I highly recommend Susan's services to anyone wishing to take that great unknown leap into the world of digital communications.

Nicky Haslam

In 2010, as part of an ongoing strategy to expand NH Design commercially, our firm began thinking about ways in which we could utilize social media to our advantage.  Meeting Susan was not only a timely co-incidence, but a brilliant stroke of luck!

Susan’s experience in the sometimes bewildering social media field has opened all sorts of opportunities for NH Design.  What began as a simple blog launch has ended up being a catalyst for new ways of doing business.

Within a framework of budget and scheduled goal posts we were able to create what I believe is one of the finest design blogs currently posting with hits of almost 10,000 visitors in 94 countries – a mere six months after launching!  We have made new contacts, been introduced to new business ventures, and substantially increased our international online presence.  It has rapidly become apparent to us what a powerful networking tool the internet can be.

Furthermore, Susan and Kedoi were able to assimilate our ideas then plan around short term and long term goals so that we were able to launch the blog quite quickly, whilst taking a view towards longer term projects.

Marcel Botha

Susan joined the Timesulin team, focussed first on communication and public relations, perfectly pitching our business for exclusive publications both in traditional media, industry press and online publications. Financial Times and Springwise were two of over 100 articles within the first 90 days.

Susan further proved invaluable on the Timesulin lead generation, marketing and sales logistics, conference planning and social media and support campaigns. She is fantastic asset to enterprise at any scale.

Donoven Gloy

Susan was born to be in PR. I've yet to meet someone that can network a room with alarming alacritry quite like her. Her power of presence and persuasion is only surpassed by her ability to write.

Alice Jordan

Susan is a enthusiastic, dedicated team player who always had the client's best interests at heart. She came up with creative ideas, followed them through to completion, and competently managed the junior members in her team. She is very professional and a pleasure to work with.

Mark Clemente

Susan Moolman has all the capabilities of a top-notch communication professional. She has outstanding strategic, creative and interpersonal skills – and offers valuable experience and insights from a global marketing perspective.

Eric Goldman

Susan is a detail-oriented, self-motivated resourceful project manager who coordinated international logistics for the Chief Marketing Officer Council's market research programs. She led a team that conducted qualitative and quantitative research, hosted webinars and produced graphic design collateral. She is also one of the most well read and knowledgable international travelers you will ever meet.
