Smart Online Strategy

I consult with business owners to plan a strategy so that they can be found online. We use a combination of Web Development, Search Engine Optimization, Social Media Marketing, Blogs, Lead Capture, Article and Video Marketing.

My role involves implementation of the strategy and project management of online assets. I outsource to a technical team for the build, advise on content, write copy and offer search engine optimization to generate traffic. I plan and manage social media profiles and campaigns.

Current projects include: Stage 1 Social Media Consultation with One Agency a Real Estate group

They have 25 agencies and are growing rapidly. I am working with HQ on their campaign. I recently gave a presentation on Social Media and Online Marketing at their conference. My business is now their preferred supplier for Online Marketing, Social Media Strategies, SEO and implementation of those strategies.

Recent projects include:

Aria Inc - a San Francisco based supplier of productivity, CRM and marketing tools for radio sales professionals.

My role: Writer. I worked with the co-founder, Michael Tate to write and produce ongoing content for blogs and newsletters for their websites.

Morgans Fine Foods - a catering and fine food retailer.

My role: To consult over Social Media strategy and a Facebook Page. They had no web presence and required branding, copy, design, photography plus education in the Facebook user interface. I project managed, shot the photographs, wrote copy and educated the owners, outsourcing the design and coding.

I have worked with numerous small businesses on very similar projects.

• Executive Electrical - supplier of electrical fit-outs to large corporations.

My role: Website Consultant, Copywriter and Project Manager. I was appointed by the BDM to manage a web design project that was rapidly going over budget and beyond deadline. My work included writing copy, restructuring the navigation and implementing strategies to engage customers.

My role: I took a temporary contract to cover this position to gain experience working in an offline community project. My responsibilities covered creating, developing, implementing and managing local community road safety programs. I ran presentations and education initiatives to encourage wider community participation. Managing projects within local government gave me great experience in diplomacy and accountability of results and reporting.

Life by Design

This company provides Employee Engagement programs and online tools for staff of large corporations. My role: I worked within a small team at Life by Design and grew with the business managing all aspects of the Corporate Programs, Online Tools and Web Content. Working closely with the Web Designer I was involved in the development of meCentral.com from inception through to launch and ongoing Client Account Management.

Production Freelancer

Film & Television Industry

My career began in the Film and Television industry and I worked in TV Drama, Documentary, Feature Films and TV Commercials as a Producers Assistant, Directors Assistant, Researcher, Production Coordinator and Manager on a freelance contract basis.

I developed skills in scheduling, budgeting, project management, script amendments, stock footage research, liaison between creative and executive staff, diplomacy and stress management. Putting out fires and preventing disasters was a day to day challenge and I learnt to keep a cool head and respond with decisive action.
