Project Description:

 Avaya Inc. is a privately held global provider of business communications and collaboration systems. The international headquarters is in Santa Clara, California, United States. The company supplies contact centers, networking (routers, switches and other networking hardware), unified communications (UC), and video products (integrated hardware and software) services.

 Role and Responsibilities:

 Analyzed the requirements and design documents along with Product owner and the scrum master

  • Attends the Business/System Requirements Review Meeting, and provide feedback from the testing team’s perspective.
  • Provided the estimates for each sprint cycle and reviewed the test plan and test strategy.
  • Deployed and created test environments manually and through Hudson.
  • Create the test suite for Functional/Smoke/Regression Testing, and update them for each release cycle

Project Description:

            E-Plus decided to launch a BSS Transformation Program called Columbus to consolidate their existing application environment into a future oriented BSS landscape, which ensures E-Plus’ continued success and enables future oriented business models, like true hybrid customers. To reach these goals E-Plus wants to streamline their CRM and Billing process, simplify their complex IT architecture and reduce their total cost of ownership for their BSS systems.

Responsibilities

  • Working from Drop 0 for E-plus, communicating with the Customers for gathering requirements and analyzing the stated requirements clarity and ambiguity thereby resolving the issues before its implementation.
  • Analyzed the requirements provided by E-plus and converted them into High Level Scenarios which has been used as a base by all the stakeholders to prepare their E2E and UAT Test scenarios and cases.
  • Organized meetings and conducted sessions with clients about the implementation of the requirements before the software is launched in the production to identify the requirement gaps.
  • Attended Monthly PBR Business meetings and clarified business about the Rating, Billing and Month End Closing processes in NGBSS system.
  • Analyzed the Systems and helped business to raise the CRs and verified the impact of the CRs on systems.
  • Creation of User Acceptance test cases from requirement specification, Test Scenarios, creation of knowledge base documents, Test Coverage Analysis, creation of Test Design Specification.
