I am a strong services marketer with 9 years experience in both business and consumer marketing. My marketing experience covers mobile and fixed telecommunications, retail insurance and most recently the Airline industry. I have developed and implemented strategies for customer acquisition, revenue stimulation, and loyalty, as well as managing large scale proposition launches.
My 5 years working in the UK, with customers and suppliers in Europe, Asia, USA and Canada has allowed me to also gain an understanding of different international markets, how customer behaviour, business culture and social trends differ from the New Zealand market.
During this time, I gained international business development experience within the mobile industry, developing partnerships with mobile operators in Asia and Europe. With a focus on international roaming, I worked with a team to build partnership pitches, including country analysis, proposing a suite of products, negotiating wholesale rates and the commercial framework for the partnership, and being ultimately responsible for building the relationships with these operators to implement products and services in line with partner contracts.
I have also held an analyst role, and my graduate experience has been within market research focusing on strong FMCG markets, so can bring strong numeric and analytical skills to any position. I hold a strong mix of commercial and marketing skills, bringing customer driven propositions to market while understanding the financials.
