Summary

Cognitive Scientist and experienced project manager that is an expert in designing, developing, and executing the launch of clinical healthcare products. I employ the agile development process and integrate user stories to manage panels and streamline software development. My business methodology is a bottom-up approach where everything from basic reports, day-to-day operations, and long-term goals are aligned for stakeholder buy-in and simplicity. I am experienced in developing new corporate departments and all aspects of managing client management in a start-up environment.

My versatility and curiosity has allowed me to simultaneously pursue research endeavors and a professional career. For the past 7 years I’ve been conducting research into the evolution of intelligence and the logical foundations of cognition. While working towards a B.S in physics, I had the opportunity to work with semi-conductor robots, algorithms for brain monitoring EEG devices, and culturing neurons on titanium nanotubes. These experiences greatly influenced my undertaking of cognitive science research with an interdisciplinary approach anchored in mathematics. By incorporating the mathematical relevance of tools our evolutionary ancestor’s left behind as well as numerical sense in humans and primates, I am able to narrow the algorithmic focus with methods from computer science and neuroscience.

Core Competencies:  Cognitive Science, Operations Management, Product Development, Presentation to Stakeholders, Account Management, Project Management, Data Analysis, Employee Onboarding, Training and Mentoring, Business Development, Brand Management, Consumer Behavior, Market Research, Survey Methodology
