Trainee International Management Development Program 

This program offers young graduates to accomplish 3 diverse projects in different Saint-Gobain companies globally over a period of 2 years, which leads into a final role. The objective of this program is to develop future leaders of Saint-Gobain. 

Project 1: Raw material harmonization & rationalization @ Saint-Gobain Abrasives, Germany (Oct 2016 - Jun 2017)

Role: R&D Analyst, European Bonded R&D Team

Objectives:

  • Grain classification and cost-benefit analysis 
  • Standardize raw material creation process in SAP at European level 
  • Raw material (Grain) rationalization, harmonization and implementation at 7 Bonded Abrasive sites in Europe 

Project 2: Factory design and planning @ Sage Electrochromics, USA (Jul 2017 - Dec 2017)

Role: Junior Project Manager - Back End 2 Project 

Objectives: 

  • Detailed floor layout planning & design creations 
  • Modeling, debugging & simulation of factory response to justify the investment, predict target output and ROI 
  • Solve factory design issues to ensure smooth flow 
  • Assist in vendor communications, modify equipment specifications and capital authorization of new factory 

Project 3.1: Industry 4.0 & Smart Manufacturing @Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics (Fluid Systems), Germany (Jan 2018 - Present) 

Role: Process Engineering

Objectives: 

  • Lead Process Failure Modes Effects Analysis 
  • investigate and organize Industry 4.0 conceptualization 
  • Identify areas for Cobot/Robot implementation and prepare a CAR for the investment 

Project 3.2: Global Marketing & Strategy @Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics (Bio-process Solutions), Germany (Jan 2018 - Present)

Role: Assistant to Market Manager & Strategist 

Objectives:

  • Conduct secondary research, internal and external interviews to develop material to share with internal audience 
  • Analysis of competitive offerings, market size and entry barriers 
  • Segmentation by application and determine target segments
