  • Funded the purchase of championship rings for his high school’s girl’s basketball team which has won the past two Florida Class 6A titles.
  • Participant in Lions’ hospital visits program.
  • Donated Lions’ tickets to the Boys & Girls Club of Southeastern Michigan – Diehl Club through Lions CATS for kids program.
  • Participated in Detroit Lions Pet Calendar to benefit the Dearborn Animal Shelter

  • Top 11 offensive linemen in the nation (1996) at Deerfield Beach High 
  • JUCO All-American for two consecutive year at Navarro Junior College
  • Two-year starter at Oklahoma after a two-year junior college career at Navarro Junior College in Corsicana, Texas, in 1996-97
  • Served as Sooners’ starting right tackle in all 12 games as a senior in 1999
  • Named third-team All-America by Associated Press, first-team All-Big 12 by the Football News and Kansas City Star and second-team all-conference choice by Dallas Morning News and league coaches
  • Played in all 11 games in maiden season for Oklahoma as a junior in 1998 – began season as a reserve, but broke into starting lineup at right tackle
  • Second year at Navarro Junior College in 1997 saw him named a JUCO All-American for the second consecutive season (played at left tackle both years)
  • In Junior College was a top-rated junior college linemen in the nation by several recruiting publications following the ’97 campaign

 Former Professional Football Athlete with eight years’ experience in the National Football League, 10 years community activist and 15 years working with youths.  A dynamic self-motivated youth activist, focused on achieving results through teamwork and relationships with the community. Stockar possess the drive and determination to make positive change in the lives of disadvantage youths.

The McDougle Family Foundation (Previous known as The McDougle Brother’s Foundation) was established in 2006 by professional athletes Jerome and Stockar Mcdougle as a non-profit organization created to focus on giving back to the South Florida community. The NFL brothers never forgot their own humble beginnings and roots. NFL brothers Stockar and Jerome McDougle grew up and developed their love of athletics.  The brothers along with community friends and supporters collaborate with inner-city schools to create critical programs for students, which provide them with an outlet to develop their educational and personal talents.

The McDougle Family Foundation is a program that is in direct response to the growing number of young people that are either falling through the cracks at school or are already entangled with the juvenile court system. The goal of the program is to identify youths who are going to have a turbulent transition to adulthood and offer positive support system to avoid the pitfalls that can derail their lives. The focus is slightly different at each level but the goal remains the same; empower the young person to make positive changes in his/her life.
