Steve Wandler is a successful entrepreneur. Despite never graduating from Assumption High School in Cold Lake, Alberta, Canada, Steve Wandler went on to found a hugely successful start up company called YourTechOnline.com that culminated in its lucrative sale to Support.com. YourTechOnline.com provided tech support for people with a wide variety of PC remote access problems. Today, Steve Wandler is working in Senior Leadership at Support.com in California and also sits on advisory boards for tech companies. Steve Wandler has a strong passion for helping companies in their initial growth period. The intensity and excitement of being in a startup phase consistantly motivates Steve Wandler and he enjoys helping founders and CEO's fight through the typical hurdles of creating a successful technology company. Although an extremely busy individual, Steven Wandler is interested in making a difference in the world. His passion for helping others morphed into a project where, through his company, Steve Wandler is helping Africa gain better access to modernized technology by training certain African companies to support networks in hospitals, health centers, and schools. However, Steve Wandler’s concern for others is not just a recently acquired quality. He was once a volunteer for the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization. Additionally, Steve Wandler is a Board Member of the Okanagan Science and Technology Council, where he is working to build a bridge between high tech companies in Canada and Silicon Valley. In his limited spare time, Steve Wandler enjoys athletic pursuits, such as track and field (for which he has won several medals in the past) and volleyball. Steve Wandler is especially passionate about hockey, which he has played competitively since a very young age. In fact, Steve Wandler was scouted by the Kamloops Blazer WHL hockey team in 1986. Steve Wandler also enjoys spending time with his family and reading literature by such esteemed authors as Patrick Lencioni and Jim Collins.
