A current managing partner of MCM Capital Partners, LLC, Steve Trowern is one of the firm’s three co-founders. His areas of expertise include the telecommunications industry, investment banking, and corporate management. At MCM Capital, Steven Trowern oversees more than 75 employees, handles companywide portfolio management, and directs investment strategies. Founded in 2007, MCM is one of the United States’ premier residential whole loan firms. Before starting MCM Capital, Steven Trowern served as a Vice President at Lehman Brothers in New York City for six years. While working for Lehman Brothers, he provided direction in telecommunications for the mergers and acquisitions firm. Mr. Trowern assisted and advised in the selling of international companies such as One2One and Telecom Italia. He also led a company recruiting program at universities and graduate schools. In March of 2000, he co-founded Fuse Products, Inc., where he also served as Chief Financial Officer. He worked diligently to raise capital and financing for the budding consumer electronics company. Steve Trowern holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan, and spent part of his time studying overseas in Madrid, Spain. In 1997, he earned a Master’s from Northwestern University’s esteemed Kellogg School of Management. He also attended the Universidad Catolica in Santiago, Chile to earn his Master of Business Administration. Throughout his collegiate studies, Mr. Trowern actively participated in intramural soccer. He is a current member of alumni associations for both United States universities he attended. In his spare time, he enjoys coaching youth soccer and participating in sailing clubs.
