The former president of family business Atlas Construction, Steven Testa remains involved in many charitable activities in the Columbus, Ohio, area. He volunteers within the local school systems as well as at Columbus Children's Hospital. In addition, Steven Testa is an active member of Zion Christian Fellowship and has worked with Special Wish Foundation, an organization granting the wishes of seriously ill children. Retired from professional life, Steven Testa enjoys pursuit of his many hobbies, in addition to his charitable involvement. A licensed private pilot, he enjoys flying in the Columbus area whenever the opportunity arises. He is also an avid golfer and has played every major course in the country, including Cypress Point Club and Pebble Beach Golf Links, both in Pebble Beach, California. Mr. Testa enjoys skiing and has skied on major slopes worldwide, including sites in France, Switzerland, Italy, and the United States. Steve Testa is a certified Tennis Chair Umpire for the United States Tennis Association and has officiated matches between the top 10 players worldwide. Prior to his retirement, Steven Testa handled all daily operations of Atlas Construction. A family business for more than 67 years, Atlas Construction handles road repair and building for residential subdivisions, private developers, and metro areas throughout the Columbus area. During his tenure as president, Mr. Testa effectively managed overall financial management and planning, as well as daily systems and controls operations. In December of 2010, he passed the business on to third-generation family member Rick Testa, who continues to manage the company and ensure its continued success. Steven Testa holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce from Ohio State University and is a former United States military sergeant, having served during the Vietnam War. He has raised three boys and currently lives in the Columbus area with his wife of 37 years.
