As Director and Chief Operating Officer of Allied Container Systems, Inc. (ACS), Steven Lamar maintains supervision over every financial aspect of the Pleasant Hill, California-based corporation. Presently, his responsibilities with ACS include internal and external reporting, risk management, budgeting and sales, marketing, liaisons with outside bankers and auditors, and all tax-related issues. Joining the management team in 2006, Steven Lamar has contributed significantly to ACS’ advancement from $5 million to $80 million in revenue and from 5 to over 100 employees. In his current capacity, Mr. Lamar continues to sustain a lead management role in the growing enterprise. ACS supplies customized containerized solutions for a variety of demanding purposes, including rapid deployment medical facilities, urban combat training structures, and emergency shelters. Easily implemented, efficiently managed, and consistently cost-effective, ACS’ turnkey solutions receive ongoing use by a variety of sectors, including commercial, military, law enforcement, disaster relief, and educational organizations. In addition to his various executive roles with ACS, Steven Lamar also continues serve on the company’s board. Steven Lamar holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance and a minor in Real Estate. He graduated from San Diego State University (SDSU) in 1992. Born in Columbus, Ohio, he currently resides in Tiburon, California. In addition to his ongoing professional responsibilities, Mr. Lamar also sustains an active personal life. He coaches basketball for Saint Hilary Parish, and he and his family enjoy a variety of recreational activities. Additionally, Steven Lamar contributes to a number of community-oriented, not-for-profit organizations, including the Kentfield Schools Foundation, the Foundation for Reed Schools, and the Saint Hilary Parish Catholic Youth Organization.
