Led three directors accountable for construction, new business development, and research & development; supervised 10 indirect staff. Evaluated technologies, R&D efforts, and new business opportunities within the alternative energy industry.

Created a world-class manufacturing operation and promoted use of a strategic change model, which included strategy, benefits, drivers, and restraints to identify issues and proactively manage change. Implemented standard operating procedures (SOPs) for production planning and inventory control.

Retained as corporate officer subsequent to Empriva's purchase of Engineered Synergy. Built, motivated, and led team of 18 for start-up software company specializing in web-based and traditional packaging solutions. As subject matter expert (SME), initiated innovations in package engineering and software development. Presented information to the Board and venture capital firms to obtain funding. Created candidate recruitment process.

Engineered Synergy (ES), LLC, OH

Founded a successful company that provided packaging specification solutions and package engineering services. Grew the company to 15 employees within 18 months. Managed all company operations, finance, human resources, sales, marketing, product development, venture capital, and merger negotiations.
