•Managed the Den MIS Win patient records database and compiled weekly command dental readiness reports for our department head.

•Supervised subordinates effectively and efficiently, assigning schedules of watch rotation for dental staff, conducting shipboard classes on dental hygiene and implemented an instructional series for Marines that were attached to our vessel.

•Invented a new method for coordinating dental x-ray procedures that decreased the average patient wait time from 40 minutes to 15 minutes and was awarded the Blue Jacket of the month honor in October 2000 for my exemplary efforts in improving departmental efficiency and increasing command dental readiness from 83% to 97%.
