Delivered the successful adoption and increased the return on investment for McDonald’s largest ever ($300M) worldwide franchisee technology offering. Achieved this goal through the sale and leadership of a multi-million dollar strategic change / adoption management program.

Delivered rapid growth ($20M revenue in less than 2 years) of the firm’s internet strategy, change management, and OD practice. Achieved this result as a leader and business developer in the practice.

  • Sold and led major domestic and international strategy, IT strategy, change management and OD consulting engagements to Fortune 1000 clients. Engagements that delivered competitive advantage, new products, services, and improved operating results for Toshiba Europe, CUNA Mutual, General Motors-Electromotive.

Vice President CNA Consulting Group - Converted Business Strategy into Improved Operating Results

CNA Insurance

Delivered adoption and return on investment for CNA’s strategic initiatives as a senior leader in CNA’s internal consulting group. Initiatives spanned product development, human resources, distribution channel, claims management, loss control and underwriting.

  • Senior leadership role in the successful reorganization of CNA’s Commercial Insurance Group; lead to a $150M reduction in operating costs.
  • Developed the ideation and product development processes used to successfully create new products and services, and expand market share.

  • Initiated sustainable change in two of CNA’s largest business units through the creation, sale and launch of the “People Strategies” initiative; a change management and OD initiative that drove the organization’s performance. It was adopted company wide in 1999.

Drove the turnaround (18 months) of the Chicago operation of the Godwins (employee benefit consulting) division. Doubled revenues and turned the first profit in the operation’s history.
