As founder and Chief Executive Officer of Shindig, serial entrepreneur Steve Gottlieb brings a demonstrated record in technology and entertainment to his work, along with a lifelong history of establishing and adopting new trends in the industry. To this end, Steve Gottlieb has spent the past three years immersed in the development of Shindig, through which he promotes an innovative, group video chat platform useful in professional conferences, interactive online education, gaming, and social media.The core Shindig platform allows people to host online events. To date, the platform has been used for everything from online nightclubs, to panels and classes, to conferences and author video chat book tours. These large-scale, online video chats offer unique new ways for people to experience online get-togethers, social gatherings , presentations, talks, conferences, classes, and other types of group activities. Over the course of his tenure with TVT Records, Steve turned his company into one of the most profitable independent record labels worldwide, signing established musicians and up-and-coming stars alike.Steve Gottlieb produced the Televisions Greatest Hits Series, discovered and nurtured the careers of such artists as Nine Inch Nails, Ja Rule, Lil Jon, and Pitbull. He also acquired and revived Wax Trax! Records and built a great independent distribution company that distributed for such third-party labels as Vagrant Records. In tandem with his work at TVT, Steve served on the Board of Directors of Musicmatch and the Napster Advisory Board in the early 2000s, spearheading the entry of music to a growing digital marketplace.A graduate of Harvard Law School and Yale University, Steve Gottlieb holds a J.D., and a B.A. in Comparative Literature.
