Steve Arbaugh graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Michigan State University in 1981. Since 2005, Steve Arbaugh has served as Managing Principal of ATTAC Consulting Group, LLC (ACG) in Ann Arbor, Michigan. In addition to operating as senior executive at this prominent health insurance and government health programs consulting firm, Mr. Arbaugh leads ACG’s Health Plan Management and Government Program practices, which oversees Medicare Part D and Medicare Advantage and Medicaid groups.
Steve Arbaugh and his colleagues at ACG offer a wealth of targeted and consulting services to Medicaid plans, Medicare Advantage and Medicare Part D sponsors, commercial health insurers, business outsourcing firms and regulators, managed care firms, and health care providers forming ACOs or plans working with health exchanges. With a focus on creating and implementing operational strategies to help client companies achieve profitably and reach their strategic business goals, Mr. Arbaugh and the ACG team apply their extensive industry experience and expertise to deliver health care solutions and business results.
Before acting as a founding member of ACG in 2003, Steve Arbaugh held leadership positions at a number of health insurance companies and other consulting firms. Mr. Arbaugh served as Executive Director of Care Choices Health Plans (MI), where he was recruited to serve in the turnaround and business formation practice at The Pace Group, Inc., in Dallas, Texas. In 1999, Steve Arbaugh accepted a role as Chief Executive Officer at FirstCare Health Plans, an HMO and health care insurer in Austin, Texas. Mr. Steve Arbaugh later joined MethodistCare Health Plan in Houston, where he served as Chief Operating Officer until 2002. After he helped to establish ACG in 2003, he left the firm briefly in 2004 to serve as Executive Vice President of Gorman Health Group, LLC, in Washington, D.C. In 2005, Steve Arbaugh returned to Michigan and assumed his current role as a senior executive at ACG.
