Responsible for the P&L and overall product strategy for Save.ca, including the identification of emerging technologies, trends and industry innovations to augment the product. Manage a multifunctional team including Sales, Brand Specialists, Operations, Product Marketing & Product Managers to achieve organizational KPIs and objectives. Grew Save mobile active users by 4x and led and negotiated distribution partnerships to broaden Save's audience and reach.
Supported the Director of Strategy on all Metroland Digital Commerce corporate development initiatives, from sourcing, business modelling and presentation development. Led and assisted partnership discussions to support the growth of MMG ecommerce products. Guided business managers on 2016 product strategy and set strategic objectives for WagJag, Travel Alerts and Save.ca.
Led integrated advertising for SMMs Automotive category. Worked along side with SMM VPs and senior directors to drive SMMs national sales and advertising product strategy. Managed the development of multi-platform marketing campaigns based on client media and advertising objectives, working with editorial, product, research and sales.
Reported to the Chief Revenue Officer. Assisted in the development of the 2015 SMG strategic plan by performing in-depth competitive and industry analysis of the media landscape and provided recommendations on revenue and audience growth opportunities for Star Media Group. Selected as a member of SMGs Innovation Committee to drive product development across company.
Managed the RFP and business development process of integrated marketing campaigns for SMGs Automotive and Financial categories. Collaborated with Sales, Consumer Marketing and Product teams to develop results oriented marketing solutions for brands and clients. Assisted with the partnership development with Layar Augment Reality for the launch of Canada's first interactive newspaper product.
Led brand and digital strategy for agency clients by consulting clients on product positioning, digital innovation and creative campaign development. Provided thought leadership to clients on industry and consumer trends to drive marketing strategy. Assisted Agency Partners and Directors on New Business Development pitches.
