President and CEO Stephen Panzarella founded Global CFS, an international air and ocean freight and warehousing company, in 1997. Headquartered in Bensenville, Illinois, at O’Hare International Airport, Global CFS holds a distinguished Homeland Security contract, functioning as the U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Port of Chicago, Centralized Examination Station for air and ocean cargo authorization. Before founding Global CFS, Mr. Panzarella founded Unlimited Warehousing, Inc., a global freight forwarding company. Under the leadership of Stephen Panzarella, Unlimited Warehousing grew to locations in Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Columbus, and Chicago. After Fritz Companies, a division of United Parcel Service, acquired Unlimited Warehousing in 1994, Mr. Panzarella took an opportunity to found Global CFS. Licensed and bonded, Global CFS carrier services include full-trailer and less-than-truckload shipments around the Midwestern United States and serves as an international import and export hub. Global cargo services include full accommodations for specialty freight needs, distribution, sorting, and segregation. Selected by Fortune 500 companies and contracted with the Transportation Security Administration, Mr. Panzarella’s firm has the distinction of holding one of the first TSA certifications for a U.S. Cargo Screening Facility in the State of Illinois. Stephen Panzarella’s company provides a massive state-of-the-art warehouse facility with a fleet of dock trucks, drive-in cargo doors, and spacious air cargo receiving doors. Always aware of security issues related to the freight industry, the Global CFS terminal accommodates interior and exterior real-time cameras and a secured yard with a 50-trailer capacity.
