Client - Viewdle, Inc.

Viewdle is a Global Internet (Web 2.0) startup company, providing facial recognition-based video search.

Marketing Communications (contract)

Manage all marketing and communications (MarCom), PR, media relations and event planning.  Supervise subcontractors for design.  Handle strategic planning and execution.  Interface with management (located in Kiev, Ukraine & U.S.) as part of executive team to gain visibility for startup and help raise Series A financing needed to achieve company’s mission.  Correspond with established and potential investors; collaborate with product development team.

-Grew company from an idea in Kiev to market launch in 1 month; encompassed competitive analysis, branding, web site structure, copywriting, press kit, multi-media launch presentation, collateral, etc.  Expedited press coverage in 50+ outlets and launched 3 beta product releases, accomplished with $0 allocated marketing budget.

-Established groundwork for securing meetings with 15 Venture Capital groups.

-Successfully positioned Viewdle to be named “Start-up of the Year” at Plugg emerging technology conference, to be named a TechCrunch40 company, among more than 700 competitors worldwide, and be selected as a Crunchie2007 Award Finalist (1 of 5) for “Best Technology/Innovation Achievement.”  Viewdle was also chosen as 1 of 7 emerging companies to present during LIFT’08 Conference Venture Night, in addition to other industry-leading conference speaking engagements (CES, OMMA, Digital Hollywood, etc.). Viewdle just won LeWeb Gold Award for "Best European Start-up."

Managed the following client accounts and support teams: LearnNow, WebTelecom, EZ Prints, MANTAS and Safeguard Global Services.

-Conceptualized LearnNow “Learn, Achieve, Succeed” tagline and supporting outreach campaign, which led to acquisition by Edison Schools.

-Launched EZ Prints and WebTelecom through high-profile media and analyst tours.
