A former Manhattan litigator, Stephanie Marquesano has a rich personal life devoted to family, philanthropy, and a number of hobbies. A married mother of two, Ms. Marquesano plays an active role in her local community, serving on the Youth Council and Education Foundation. She also supports several cancer research and advocacy groups, including Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Stand Up to Cancer, and the American Cancer Society. Furthermore, Stephanie Marquesano has cultivated a global awareness, donating to Hope for Haiti and the AFYA Foundation, which promotes health in developing countries. Within the last several years, Ms. Marquesano and her family adopted a rescue dog from the Beebe Humane Society located in Arkansas. After learning that a local pet shop sold animals from a breeder with several animal rights violations, Ms. Marquesano became determined to find a dog in need of rescue. Utilizing the internet to connect with a shelter in Arkansas, she soon brought home Frankie, a rescued Schnauzer-Yorkshire Terrier mix. In addition to blogging about her dog, she has used him for inspiration for her most recent project: a children's book. Stephanie Marquesano also enjoys blogging about her latest culinary adventures through the website, Recipe Land. Posting some of her grandmother's traditional recipes, she also likes trying out new combinations for family and friends. Ms. Marquesano and her family regularly watch a range of sports, cheering on many of New York's teams, including the Jets and the Yankees, as well as the Red Bulls soccer team and the Rangers hockey team. She also finds pleasure in interior design and collects various memorabilia. In her free time, Stephanie Marquesano plays tennis, golf, and Mah Jongg.
