Sports & Lifestyle Marketing Senior Manager

Identified, negotiated, and managed sports and entertainment partnerships and alliances.
Developed and implemented programs and initiatives.
Aligned marketing strategy with corporate objectives and target audiences.

• Partnered with MLS/SUM to manage an integrated multi-year sponsorship for Chivas de Guadalajara for the Boost brand. Strategic alliance building, in-game advertising and branding, national consumer promotion, digital promotion, retail collateral, and customer hospitality.

• Managed Gold Cup brand presence for Boost, including on-site fan activation and digital and consumer promotion.

• Led multi-year Sundance Film Festival sponsorship, including on-site branding, national messaging and communications, sales promotions, internal communications and sales incentives, executive and customer hospitality.

• Managed Sprint sponsorship, resulting in more than one million brand impressions.

• Managed sponsorship for Rock the Bells Rap Festival, resulting in eight million impressions and 50% increase in gross adds.

• Managed I Heart Radio Music Awards sponsorship, generating twenty million brand impressions and 20% increase in local area retail sales.

• Developed customer base promotions for MTV Movie Awards and American Music Awards, including internal and external communications, creation of custom Sprint mobile applications, sales incentives and on-air messaging and product integration.

• Managed all on-site, in-show and retail aspects for The Voice sponsorship. Managed product integration, in-show branding and messaging, retail and consumer sweepstakes, on-site organization including audience promotion and customer hosting.

• Managed Sprint sponsorship for the inaugural The Voice Tour.

• Executed sponsorship for SpiderMan, Cowboys and Aliens and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs film releases.



Innovation Media Senior Manager

Brand leadership for strategy, planning, and share for all non-traditional media. Developed and negotiated affinity programs with entertainment properties to increase brand recall and likability. Managed event PR and guerilla marketing activities and events. Designed and executed interactive, SMS text, and social media marketing programs coordinating multiple agencies at a regional and national level.

• Oversaw national cinema strategy surrounding Sprint’s in-theater advertising, branding, and customer experience.

• Provided leadership on all product and brand integrations in film and television, including product placement, brand messaging, custom interstitials, callouts / bumpers, online presence, mobile presence, and celebrity seeding.

• Directed all entertainment sponsorships, publicity, base customer email campaigns, internal communications, events, marketing, and national promotions to engage internal and external target audiences.

• Supervised on-going national affinity programs for major circuits to drive theater traffic and offer reward promotions and incentives to current and potential customers and internal personnel.

• Administered the implementation of all experiential-branded initiatives in cinema, television, live events, print, and online to enhance media investments.

• Activated downloadable Sprint- launched on-screen mobile trivia, and PSA- turn off your cell phone advertising on more than 30K movie screens nationwide.

• Launched red carpet campaigns with People magazine, E online and in 400 theaters nationwide.

• Increased Sprint ‘Most Want to Investigate’ up to 70% and ‘Likelihood to Recommend’ up to 65%.



Branded Entertainment Marketing Senior Manager

Managed team that conducted brand reviews and approved sponsorship activities in local markets by counseling and directing appropriate use of Sprint brand for event and communication materials. Negotiated product and brand integrations and celebrity seeding to align Sprint brand positioning and marketing initiatives with best in class entertainment properties. Drove internal and external publicity for product and brand integrations and responded to media inquiries.

• Negotiated and administered major exclusive multi-year sponsorships for the Academy Awards, Primetime Emmy Awards and Tony Awards.

• Directed all phases of nationwide consumer marketing campaigns for seven major motion picture releases generating greater than $60 million in promotional value.



Corporate Communications Senior Manager

Managed team responsible for the design and development of national public relations campaigns for community relations, disaster response and wireless health and environmental issues.

• Launched first official nationwide collection for wireless devices resulting in more than 65 million devices collected to date.
