Sports, news and feature writing, copy editing, layout design and photography.I would love to get involved with sports marketing/advertising/PR, but am also passionate about writing and reporting on news and athletics. I'm excited about anything media-related, and am looking forward to finding a job that fits my interests and passions in life!

I will be graduating from the University of Tulsa in May with a Bachelor's degree in English. My minor is in Spanish, which I am fluent in, and I have a certificate in Journalism Studies as well. I've had editorial experience through my internships at TulsaPeople Magazine and Ackerman McQueen, as well as through my job as a staff writer, Managing Editor and Editor-in-Chief at TU's campus newspaper. I am currently working at the Reynolds Center Athletic Ticket Office and as an editorial intern at TulsaPeople Magazine. I also just finished a PR internship with NatureWorks, Inc.

Bilingual, Spanish
I have studied Spanish since Middle School, when I participated in an exchange program that immersed me in the language for over two months. Since then, I have maintained a decent proficiency in the language. My ability to speak comes and goes with the quality of my university classes and my exposure to native speakers. However, my comprehension skills have always remained superb.
AP Style and Formatting
Use AP style on a daily basis in each of my Communication classes, while editing the campus paper and for my internships.
Adobe Photoshop
Self-taught basics of Adobe Photoshop. I correct and enhance images of my own on a weekly basis.
