Distribution Management Systems Team Member

Team Member Resolve inventory discrepancies in Receiving for product data inaccuracies in the system(e.g., product dimensions changed or tier height requirements incorrect).

Execute new projects that allow for efficient and safe product picking. Utilize Operations Team Members to relocate product(e.g., inventory relocated closer to shipping door, lines repainted).

Monitor DMS to ensure items are set up correctly in the system. Monitor Operations Team Member movement of product when consolidating space in the warehouse to allow for more inbound product storage.

Handle all product that does not have a physical location in the warehouse and assign a location in DMS. Field calls from Operations to resolve issues with the DMS system.

Audit locations and barcodes within the warehouse to ensure product is stored properly and is accurate in the DMS system.

Prepare shift turn over documentation. Use Microsoft Office(MS Access and MS Excel) in order to find discrepancies within the warehouse.

Strong ability to handle high stress situations. Acute attention to detail. Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Shipping Team Member

Lowe's

Shipping Team Member Uses and verifies accuracy via Laser Radio Terminal(LRT) to receive, process, stock, and select merchandise for shipment, and audit the quality of work performed within the distribution center.

Operates distribution computers systems as required to efficiently control merchandise flow.

Places/ removes by hand selected merchandise onto/from conveyors, racks, pallets, and into/out of boxes as merchandise is processed. Loads and unloads trailers by hand, floor to ceiling.

Meets safety, accuracy, attendance, and production standards for all assignments. Observes incoming and outgoing merchandise for manufacturers' defects and damage.

Handles merchandise without damaging during processing. Maintains assigned work area free of debris and spills using standard cleaning supplies.

Comply with performance criteria and standards of conduct as provided in applicable policies and procedures.

I was a volunteer Peer Court member that helped Juveniles that were given an opportunity to have a punishment given by their peers instead of a judge.
