I worked for Witter Publishing, a Publishing/Expo company back in 1999 - 2000, selling tradeshow booths for 3 niche conferences that we owned. I also sat in on all of the planning meetings for each conference. I was able to take those skills and plan our conference presence (from choosing which conference to attend, booth location, and logistics, pre and post marketing, and conference follow up) at each of the following companies I worked at: XTrials Research Services, Dendrite Clinical, Cegedim Dendrite, QualityHealth and Boomerang Pharmaceutical Communications. I am also Founder of 4 Life Science networking groups - NJBPNG, NYBPNG, PABPNG and MABPNG. The Bio Pharma Networking Groups (BPNG) are an all-inclusive life and health science professionals community that actively promotes the "real power" of networking.  We serve various disciplines and corporate cultures across the industry that values key relationship building at all stages of careers.  BPNG encourages a crossover effect for valuable lead and resource sharing at our casual monthly events where people can exchange information, trends and ideas. Consultative Selling
You have some Business Developers who are very aggressive and only worry about making their next sale. Others, like me would rather be more consultative, where I can help my clients with their issue and create a strategy that is a win-win for both of us. I believe in developing the relationship with my client. If I have earned the clients trust through my consultative selling skills they will be more than willing to give me more business.

Having spent 10 years in finance, I am an extremely organized and detail-oriented person. As a Project Manager, there are a lot of moving parts in a project. You have to be at the center of all of that activity to make sure things get done in a timely manner. As a parent with 2 active kids and a 2 income household - you learn to juggle many schedules. We, like every other American household, are going in 2 different directions. In order to accomplish this = you need to be very organized.
