About Stanley J Szaro

Over the course of his career in the silver industry, Stanley J. Szaro has established himself as a dedicated and highly capable business leader. He currently serves as the owner and manager of Lauren Stanley Silver in New York City, one of the most prominent dealers of antique and contemporary American and Mexican silver in the United States. In this capacity, Stanley J. Szaro has established a large selection of premium silver items and sold pieces to a number of major museums in the United States.

Stanley J. Szaro also works as an adjunct professor with New York University, where he teaches courses on American and Mexican silver from the past two centuries. In addition to discussing some of the most famous makers, he conducts on-site visits to his company’s gallery to review and assess the condition of various objects. In addition, a field trip to The Metropolitan Museum of Art is also part of course curriculum.

Mr. Szaro holds a bachelor of science in sociology and art history from Northwestern University, a doctor of law from the New York Law School and an Appraisal Certificate from New York University.
