During my MBA program, I learned how to visualize data due to the high number of presentations that are needed. Now that bite-sized visual media is on the rise, and images are easier to share and will continue to increase in popularity, it is essential for digital marketers to create images that people like and are excited to share. The other skill that I significantly improve during my MBA program is my teamwork skill. In every class that I took, there was at least one group project, these projects helped me to improve my teamwork and leadership skills. Teamwork is necessary for the modern marketer, especially now that social media teams will continue to increase, thus our ability to work with others is paramount. As more marketers attribute ROI to social media, we can justify to higher-ups that we are not simply playing around online.

Social Media

Helped managing Dolly's social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Google Plus, and additional channels that may be deemed relevant. Understood way to be viral in social media: perfect kind of posts, the perfect time of the day to posts, frequency, and the importance of the content title. Ran regular software promotions and campaigns and track their success (Coupon code and Google Plus Circles). Worked alongside other content marketers to help distribute content that educates and entertains our audience and support marketing goals. Explored new and trendy ways to engage and identify new social networks to reach our target audiences.
