I act as a central resource for the Executive Team, liaising with the Executive team and responding to queries from all levels of CHI staff, clients, agents, stakeholders, and the public. I arrange corporate travel and meetings by developing itineraries, booking Page1 transportation, arranging lodging and meeting accommodations while maintaining budgetary responsibilities related to these duties. I compile administrative reports for the Managing Director and ensure necessary systems are in place for efficient document storage and retrieval.

I perform exit interviews to gain insight into possible system/staff improvements and manage administrative aspects of employee relations and bring any issues regarding employee relations to the Executive Committee while respecting confidentiality. I manage the CHN benefits plan including setting up new employees on the plan; managing changes to employee membership relating to leaves of absence, retirement, termination, marriage, divorce, changes to dependants, and so on; responding to staff requests for information; communicating with staff aboutrenewals and changes to premiums; and recommending improvements and review of the plan periodically. I also Explore, recommend and seek approval for improvements to workplace communication, such as in-person communication, email, social media, phones and texting, webinars, presentations, and internal newsletters as well as recommend and seek approval for changes and improvements to the annual performance review and planning process and other performance management tools. I am also the Regional Team Leader for the West which includes all BC employees, providing confidential peer support and counselling to an extent.

In terms of Financial Record Management, I help the bookkeeper, accountant and CFO get timely and accurate records by providing an immaculate and beautiful state of financial record keeping; I create and send reports; correspond with the bookkeeper and accountant to help them, help me, help everyone get paid on time and implement a profit sharingsystem; arrange direct deposit processing; Invoice clients/credit card processing; and deal with accounts receivable/payable. Basically I am a catch all for everything no one else has time for!
