My name is Sarah Samaha.

I was born in Beirut, Lebanon, and have been here in the United States for most of my life.

I speak a few languages: French, Arabic, English, and a little bit of Spanish.

I currently attend American University, where I am studying International Relations and Broadcast Journalism.

I love working in cross-cultural communication: the differences between some distinct societies astound me.

I hope one day to become an international correspondent for a television station, or maybe even an interpreter for a global network. I love communicating with other people, and resolving and reconciling issues amongst them. Finding that integrative solution that allows for two conflicting parts to coexist in harmony-- that is the reason for which I want to join the investigative labor force.

Check me out! (:

Physical Therapist Assistant

Milford Memorial Hospital

For this job, which I have held every summer since 2009, I am asked to serve in the Physical Therapy wing of Milford Memorial Hospital. I help the Therapists get what they need on time and without a problem. I file charts and do other paperwork, and I answer the phones and make sure that patients are arriving on schedule.

French Nanny

For this position, I was hired to fully immerse three girls, ages 11, 7, and 4 in the French language, while babysitting/helping around the house, etc. This is an unofficial position, of course, but it is a fantastic experience.
