Joined this start-up company at the point of inception, launching its business growth and development to achieve its goal as a leading service provider in India for Laptops, Tablets and Smartphones. Managed all pre-opening activities (e.g. Site selection, vendor relations, purchasing, equipment, operations, staff recruitment, and training). Held full P&L and operating responsibility for Bangalore location with 50+ employees. Oversee and control all daily operations, Policy implementation and strategic direction.   • Evolving the regional field services team to “best in class” by implementing workforce, Performance, Knowledge tool and quality management strategies and practices. Refining the scheduling practices with a focus on planning, allocation, and utilization that has generated reduced deployment costs and decreased time on site.
  • Gained efficiency and improved margins by restructuring the field services teams to better align talent with our core service offerings and implemented 3rd party fulfilment for workload peaks. Driving down the cost of poor quality by implementing in process inspections, final quality audits, root cause analysis, reviews and continuous improvement sessions.
  • Shifting field service engineers to become “Trusted field advisers” for customers by creating a knowledge transfer process, delivering product knowledge at the point of service and tethering field employees to subject matter experts before and during field deployments.

R&R Technology India Pvt Ltd, Bangalore - R&R provides Reverse logistics, RMA and Technical services including repair with customized solutions to both international & domestic manufacturers.

  • Responsible for setup of clean room (class 1000 & class 10000) TFT LCD RMA repair center in India for R & R Technology (India) Pvt Ltd., budgeted at 7 crore.
  • Responsible for all aspects of operations of the clean room including Design, construction, Purchasing, Validating and administration. Reduced Clean room project cost by 30% by sourcing suppliers and vendors and purchasing items required for clean room construction.
  • Identified, Evaluated, Negotiated and finalized manufacturers across China, Japan, Taiwan, Korea & Singapore for the purchase of Capital equipment’s, Testing and measuring equipment, Tools, Instruments, Chemicals, Consumables, & cleanroom items. Ensured the purchase lead-time and delivery of capital items, tools and accessories are aligned in line with the completion of clean room construction.
  • Inspected, approved & certified newly built Capital equipment’s at the factory in Japan. Reduced project budget, by designing and manufacturing necessary equipment's locally instead of importing. Audited the designated manufacturers in India to ensure good manufacturing practices are followed and quality standards are met.
  • Designed developed and implemented RMA processes that served as foundation for LCD service center. Directed all operational and RMA support activities. Recruited, trained, and evaluated personnel.
  • Created SOP's & Work instructions and guidelines as part of start-up development. Managed a group of engineers assigned to develop and execute qualification plans for all NPI and process introduction.

  • Started Reverse Logistics operations in India for Kobian Singapore Pte Ltd. Set-up new service centers & Branches and established operations at all major cities in India.
  • Responsible for program management activities between Factories in Taiwan, china and Singapore HO and Indian branch. One point contact for all sales and service activities for the entire supply chain network in India. Coordinated with the factory for collecting technical and engineering details of the new products and updating the same with the sales team, repair team, Vendors, Dealers and Distributors.
  • Planning & providing regular training to dealers and distributors across India as well as for internal customers. Interface with Sales and Marketing on customer issues, product explanation.
  • Responsible for product quality improvement by analyzing field failure units and providing cost effective solutions to the factory for ECN. Structure and maintain BOM and related documents for required service spares and other materials to support servicing activity. Single point contact to Customers, Vendors and Branch offices to settle all service and spare parts related issues independently
  • Manage RMA process for Kobian, including coordination between operations, support and engineering teams. Manage RMA for Sony ODD and Storage products across South Asian region in co-ordination with Sony Singapore Pte Ltd. Trained at various factories in Taiwan on RMA process setup.
