Miscellaneous

I enrolled at a University (Universidade Portucalense Infante D. Henrique, in Oporto, Portugal) in 1999, fresh out of Highschool.

For personal reasons, had to pause my degree, in 2002.

Started to work, firstly in a private law practice, as a courier, then other  random jobs.

Finally, went to work for Vodafone, via Multitempo and RHmais (outsourcing agencies).

Rented a house, and when stable, re-enrolled at the same University.

Managed to finish my degree, while working, with a 14 out of 20 possible (in that year, the highest score was 15 and seldomly that score is achieved).

At the same time, I became a Union Steward for SINTTAV, having successfully defended the workers from several tried changes in the work conditions.

Meanwhile, I frequently enlisted lectures, in lease, consumer, real estate law, and others.

In my fifth year, I was invited to lecture by the University, on the subject of "the death penalty", with the participation of Prof. Dr. Pinto da Costa, president of the "Instituto de Medicina Legal" (Institute of Forensic Medicine) and only teacher of Legal Medicine in Portugal.

Was invited to join the practice of Dr. Pedro Ferreira da Costa, attorney at law, still in the University, and was his Junior attorney throughout my 'internship', as it is mandatory in the Portuguese Law Association.

Ended successfully that internship, as Junior Attorney, and started my own private practice.
