Interest

As a proud parent of 2 great kids, my interests primarily revolve around my family's activities.  When I am not at work, I can be found most evenings at either a basketball game, volleyball game, football game, softball game, music concert, recital, or scholastic bowl event.  On the few occasions I have time to pursue my own interests, I enjoy playing golf, where I have been my club's champion on 4 of the last 10 years.

Objective

To use the skills and knowledge acquired during my 27 years of retail management, to teach future generations of business students and professionals

Summary

Like many adults, I have returned to college mid-life to gain the additional education and skills needed in todays changing job market.  I have been a salaried retail manager and district trainer with both small independants and corporate giants for 27 years.  I was also in the insurance industry as a licensed financial representative for about a year.  Along with the work experience, I have held 3 state licenses in the past 5 years as well.  It is now my goal to use that real world experience combined with the education of an MBA degree to teach future generations of students and business professionals at the college level.
