Project Description

Employees use Service-now.com to request IT business services, such as reporting a service interruption or ordering a computer. IT support staff use Service-now.com to track the processes that fulfill service requests. Depending on your system setup, additional functionality and processes may also be available.

Service-now.com administrators can configure the system in many different ways to address an organization's business needs. They can install and set up any number of the process applications that are provided with Service-now.com and also create custom applications. Applications can be made available to selected users by way or roles and other access controls.

Users can access and manage the software platform using any supported web browser. The system may also be configured to send and receive email as a way to create and track service requests. The system may be integrated with other software applications.

Roles & Responsibilities

ØUnderstanding requirements documentations such as (Use case Based, Functional Flow diagrams & Requirements specifications).

ØUnderstanding the Change requests for the new features.

ØConverting the requirements in to Test Cases.

ØWriting the test scripts with Input Criteria and Exit Criteria’s (required inputs and expected results).

ØExperience in executing the Test Script and documenting actual results through clarity in defect history maintenance such as Defect Classification, Tracking, Detailed Definition, Grouping and Summarizing and Reporting etc

ØGiven KT to the new team members regarding the modules which are handled by me.

ØParticipation in Weekly Status calls, Defect Traiging Calls & requirement Clarification calls.

ØConducting Functional & Regression tests.

ØCo-ordinating with the Onsite team.

ØCoordinating with users for completion of User Acceptance Testing & results verification.

ØExecuted the scripts using QTP.

ØConversion of Test Cases to automation scripts using QTP

ØDesigning the automation framework (keyword/hybrid framework) that is currently being used for Automation Projects; as well as providing enhancements to it
