Director, Business Partner Information and Analytics, North America (present)

Created and deployed “Transformed Analytics” Strategy that combined information from 5+ core systems and enabled broad user base “self-service” analytics using various Microsoft BI and Microstrategy elements (Powerpivot, Powerview, Sharepoint, Office 365, SQL Server, SSAS, Visual Insights). Responsible for Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, Master Data Management and data integration across all commercial and financial applications within Diageo North America, managing a team of 12 information architects, Oracle DBAs, data management and data integration specialists. Established and implemented system integration technical and process standards using SAP DS. Established Master Data Management principles and change roadmap, guiding the business towards improved data quality, accountability and governance. Managed the IT / Business relationship for all core internal and 3rd party data and analytics.    

Director Project Delivery, North America (1 year)

Managed national project delivery team (10 project managers/directors, 6 consultants). Established mixed staffing/resourcing models and onboarding program. Enabled and supported governance structure across 10+ national IT programs (~$12M) leveraging various technologies (SAP, Oracle, Salesforce ….). Co-led configuration and implementation of web-based Commercial Planning system deployed to >300 users that integrated multiple systems (SAP, US Data Warehouse and Financial planning system) and processes.

Director Business Intelligence / Program Management, North America (2 years)

Led multiyear strategic Business Intelligence program, combining data from 27 different systems with automated data cleansing/processing, standardized report generation and distribution to over 200 business users. Solution stack comprised of Teradata, Cognos, Microstrategy and Informatica. Deployed mixed on/off-shore support team to handle regular user community issues and training.

Coordinated national project management team activities, staffing/resourcing and methodology adherence. Managed project governance structure across multiple Bayer Healthcare IT programs. Led implementation and consultative services delivery for key IT initiatives within Bayer Healthcare. Solutions leveraged technology from core vendors such as SAP, Oracle, IBM, Teradata and Cognizant.

Global Director, Key Account Management / Business Partner, IT Consumer Care (1 year)

Responsible for developing the IT strategy for Consumer Care Division globally. Responsible for identifying, planning and implementing large scale global system and business process solutions within the Consumer Care organization. Managed a $120M Global IT budget, while driving IT cost savings. Functionally reported to CFO, managing a global team. Global IT Account lead for all C level and SVP departmental heads.

Global Director, Business Process Innovation (3 years)

Developed, promoted and deployed new internal consulting organization within Global IT organization focusing on Business Process / System Analysis. Developed strong, results oriented, objective reputation in a very short period of time (generated backlog of projects within 6 months). Designed and implemented full consulting methodology and deliverable toolkit from solution discovery and business assessment through implementation. Highlighted activities include:


  • Led several Healthcare business process assessment/consulting projects ranging from global supply chain cycle time optimization (Diabetes Care), material flow improvement (Biological Products) and operations efficiency - (Consumer Care) identifying over $35M one time savings with an ongoing $5M-$10M operational savings.


  • Initiated Global Consumer Care Product Lifecycle Management strategic solution to executive board ($15M investment over 3 years – Oracle software using combination of internal and external consulting services). Coordinated and aligned disparate functions with varying perspectives within Global Consumer Care organization in support of implementation.

Senior Program Manager, Supply Chain (internal consulting team within hardware group)

Led over 11 worldwide cross-functional internal consulting projects evaluating strategic supply chain designs and operational improvement opportunities. Responsible for identifying, selling, analyzing and implementing operational optimization opportunities with Senior VPs and Division heads. Pioneered concept of “Total Landed costs” within IBM. Highlighted activities include:


  • Global Services: Led workforce strategy team in applying supply chain concepts to the services resource management organization. Developed and deployed workforce strategy methodology for IBM services business lines. Developed demand/supply resource planning processes and tool designs to optimize resource planning for the services group.


  • Personal Computing Division: Led over 10 key strategic internal consulting / network design projects for PCD Global Executive team shifting laptop production to China, optimizing location of key global logistics centers, enabling direct ship from various manufacturing and supply sources, developing supplier component integration strategy and policy, and determining optimal fulfillment locations for PCD options. Projects achieved over $35M in annual savings.

  • Evaluated $20B retail operation’s customer service and fulfillment e-commerce readiness. Led development and implementation of web-based customer service and fulfillment solutions including real time inventory, order management and distribution optimization. Solutions reduced operating expenses over 18% and improved customer satisfaction.

Started Operations Analysis internal consulting group reporting to VP Global Supply Chain. Interfaced with various supply chain, marketing and manufacturing executives. Developed and deployed analytical methodologies to measure the effectiveness of supply network and operations in order to identify improvement opportunities. Led development and deployment of an Operations Key Performance Indicator application used to manage the operations across all plants and distribution centers. Trained senior and middle management on effective use of the tool. Member of corporate“ Rules Committee” governing inventory and parameter policies set within the Manugistics' suite of products(DRP, Deployment, CPP).

  • $500M Sporting goods manufacturer-Led team of consultants and client team members in re-engineering sales and operations planning process. Developed and implemented consensus driven demand, inventory and production planning operations. Identified gaps between SAP functionality and“ Best Practice” S&OP operations. Designed operational and contractual requirements for Vendor Managed Inventory program with large multi-billion general merchandise retailer.

  • $2B Building materials manufacturer-Conducted diagnostic concentrating on operations planning and inventory management. Identified inventory excess from inefficiencies within deployment planning, forecasting, inventory policy, capacity/production planning, warehousing and inventory control. Solutions generated $21M in annual cost reductions.
