Relay for Life of Erie

Team Captain and Event Lead

Led a group of nine individuals in the participation of a Relay team. Raised over $1500 and won several awards. In the 2016, I was promoted to Event Lead of Erie. I currently work with the public to set up the event for the Erie community and help assist the teams in fundraising or any general questions.

Led a group of 60 members, upholding the values of leadership, character, scholarship, and service. Completed a variety of charity events, from Letters to Soldiers, Bonfils Blood Drives, and Relay for Life

Section Leader - Violins

Led the second violins in freshman year, and the first violins in junior and senior year. Assisted in giving assistance, offering advice, and concerts.

Marching Bass Drum and Section Leader - Bassoons

Participated as a percussionist for marching band and switched to bassoon for symphonic. I became the section leader of the bassoons. Assisted in giving assistance, offering advice, and concerts.

Speech and Debate

Debate Team Captain

Competed in Public Forum debate, Lincoln Douglas debate, Congressional Debate, International Extemporaneous and National Extemporaneous. Won multiple awards at a variety of tournaments, qualified for States in 2016. Led the debate side in teaching basic theories, providing assistance when necessary, and attending meets.

Bonfils Blood Drive

Committee Head

Led a group of 9-15 members for three separate blood drives. Included contacting Bonfils Blood Center, assisting the blood technicians, registering students, setting up a bake sale for fundraising a donation to the blood center, and pulling students out of class.

Mock Trial

Prosecution Lawyer

Participated in Mock Trial as a Prosecution Lawyer. This included leading the prosecution side of the team in evidence interpretation and planning attacks.

Attended from 9th grade to 12th grade. Participated in a variety of activities and won several awards.



Have led several events. Current President of National Honor Society, section leader of violins for three years, section leader of bassoons, team captain of the Relay for Life team of NHS, Inductions Committee, and two blood drives.


Can speak, write, and read basic conversational Spanish. Some advanced language skills.

Won award in 2015 after obtaining an average of 3.25 on four or more Advanced Placement Tests.


Academic Letter

Erie High School

Won a total of seven academic letters. Given based off a GPA higher than 3.75 at the end of a semester.


Music Letter

Doug Carmichael

Won two Orchestra letters. Winners had to obtain 800 points by a variety of outside performances and complete a set of minor and major scales by memory. Attendance is required at all performances and all practice reports must be an A.


Athletic Letter

Won three debate letters. Given based off a point system for winning debates/speech placements.
