Internally promoted to head up Host Europe Services, a business unit of HEG, following highly-acclaimed delivery of HEG QA program. Responsible for all aspects of business, including strategy, marketing, operations, technology development and overall financial performance. Accountable for effective planning, staffing, organising and decision-making to meet corporate goals.

  • Increased team size by 700% and grew annual revenues from €110K to €2.5M.
  • Transformed Host Europe Services into the main resource pool for the Group based on cost and quality; consolidated the QA team as a Group function.
  • Achieved significant savings and efficiencies with creation of three new departments:
    • SEO: previously managed by an external provider, this is now a group function covering all brands in the Group. It generates approximately £300K annual savings.
    • Customer Support: the Support team of some 50 agents represents 40% of the UK support function and delivers all support for 123-reg.co.uk and webfusion.co.uk via email, tickets and chats.
    • Customer Services: the Service team provides assistance, branding and development services to customers with in-house and open-source software applications.
  • Grew staff motivation and substantially reduced churn with highly-effective Career Development Strategy; retained expertise within company through development of customer support staff skills and maximising their potential though personal assessment, training and promotion.
  • Reduced costs with development of in-house CRM software to replace 3rd party solution, now implemented on three of Group’s top brands. Roll-out as Group’s unified CRM platform planned for 2016.
