Computer literacy

Developed skills from GCSE to ECDL level 2; able to operate a computer, and use all Microsoft Office programs. Also able to communicate by e-mail and efficiently use the internet, an example of this would be searching for information related to my degree assignments.

Used both in my work-life, through providing good customer service by listening to customers needs, and in my volunteering where I listen to my co-grant givers to reach a compromise. Constantly improving this skill through my the counselling modules of my degree.

Volunteer Grant Giver

SCVS- Youth Bank

I am a member of a youth led grant giving panel. We give out grants to youth led community projects which improve the local community. I take part in group discussions, attend meetings, take minutes, provide extra administrative services, view projects and applications and plan annual celebration events. As well as this I have recently taken on extra duties as a mentor, taking care of new members and hope to soon become a Youth Bank Ambassador on the creation of the role.
