Summary

A hard working and dedicated team player, who for the past 10 years in the Navy operated, Lead troubleshooting, repairs, and performed maintenance on submarine sonar oceanographic and Auxiliary sonar equipment; coordinates use of submarine sonar and underwater weapons control System; knows oceanographic aspects such as wave propagation in a fluid medium, with variables of temperature and pressure. Performs operational tests and makes external adjustments on equipment; uses schematic and wiring/circuitry diagrams; troubleshoots and repairs; analyzes, tracks, records and reports data; operates a bathythermograph to obtain water temperature versus depth; prepares and interprets sonar messages; completes maintenance data forms. Performs preventive and corrective maintenance on sonar equipment; tests and repairs or replaces electrical/electronic components and parts; localizes equipment malfunctions to systems, subsystems, circuits, or parts; installs minor modifications to electronic sonar equipment; operates analog/digital sonar computer; inventories tools, portable test equipment, and installed equipment; completes maintenance reports; trains and supervises subordinates.
