Past Activities at Emory University

Served on steering committee to compile a self-study for our upcoming accreditation visit by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH).  Met monthly for a year revising the current accreditation document for the CEPH visit in April 2012.

Secured a mini-grant through the DeKalb County Health Department to implement a tobacco-free policy at Emory University.  Funding provided through the federal agency "Communities Putting Prevention to Work".

Serve as a member a number of service professional and community-based organizations, including the Georgia Diabetes Coalition, the Healthy Heart Coalition through the Fulton County Health Department, and Continuing Education Chair for the Georgia Society for Professional Health Educators (Georgia SOPHE).
