Creating a state-wide report on residential segregation in Virginia using spatial data analysis. This report looks at the correlation of segregated communities to a wide range of issues including access to housing, environmental justice, education, transportation, and infrastructure.  It connects the political processes of urban planning, specifically political boundaries,  to the creation of segregated communities.  

Assist with data analysis and collection for Analysis of Impediments written for Jefferson Parish in Luisiana.  This document assesses the jurisdiction's compliance with fair housing laws and regulations.

Fair Housing Investigations 

Four years of experience designing and implementing fair housing investigations.  This includes developing investigation methodology, recruiting and training investigators, coordinating investigations, analyzing results, writing reports, and making recommendations for further action.  


Coordinated over 350 fair housing audits, in the rental, sales and lending markets.  

Spatial and Data Analysis

Adept in the methodology of using ArcGIS mapping tools to analyze housing patterns and identify segregation.  Skilled in Excel and Access, especially in the statistical methods used to determine disparate impact of housing policies.  Familiar with the data types and sources used to analyze fair housing issues across a variety of issues.

Trained over 100 field-investigators in the methodology of fair housing testing. 

Created training for sales test coordination.  

Trained 20 housing industry professionals in fair housing laws regarding design and construction.
