Sarah Nagy

My name is Sarah Nagy, I am currently a Senior at Ashland University and I am studying Dietetics. I am also in the student dietetic association at Ashland University, this is my second year of being involved in the group and I enjoy it, I can't wait to get involved with the community this year. I'm not from Ashland, Ohio but from Litchfield, Ohio which is only 45 minutes away.

Why Dietetics?

I want to be a Registered Dietitian or in the profession of Dietetics because I want to help people with their health and getting on the right track. For many years, I have enjoyed helping people with whatever they needed help on or with. I really enjoy helping children with whatever they need, that is why my focus right now is to become a Pediatric Dietitian so I can help children. I have also been interested in food for years and I think that it is important to eat healthy. I also know some people that do not eat every healthy and are overweight and I want to help them out and I also want to help as many people as I can get on a healthier diet. I have also noticed that over the year, I have been eating healthier since I am studying to become a Dietitian. The focus I have on becoming a Dietitian is that, I want to be able to help as many people as I can possible in a field of study that I enjoy.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

During the summer, I ran the concession stand. Managed the cash and balanced the drawer at the end of the night. I sat up and cleaned up the concession stand. I cooked all the food that needed to be cooked. Served customers. Stocked up at the end of the night with merchandise.
