Tom Waters

Tom Waters

For the past 13 years, I have been in the electrical and electronics field, accomplishing myself to gain the knowledge through previous employers, and self-teaching. I find myself talented and highly motivated to learning something new in electronics, learn very quickly, and would be willing to educate myself to whatever the perfomance requires.

I have many interests and hobbies, my main one being hiking. I lead and co-lead people who enjoy the wilderness, and I have hiked many miles on the trails here and where I have lived previously.  My enjoyment is to be outdoors enjoying nature and the wilderness. For the last couple of years I have volunteered my time to help the Southern Appalachian Forests Coalition,  American Hiking Association, Benton-MacKaye Hiking Association, Cherokee and Hiwassee Hiking Clubs, maintain trails and build new ones in the area I live. I'am a member of the Benton-MacKaye Hiking Association and the Cherokee Hiking Club.
