Reporting directly to the CEO, I am in charge of the following:
- organizing the collaborations and external stackholders including national and international companies, public administrations, international Universities through the establishment of strategic agreements;
- identifying intenrational strategic actors that can contribute to the further development of the University;
- Keeping and improving the external relations of the overall University;
- Identify strategic opportunities for the further development of the different faculties of the University;
- Promote the brand of the University trhrough the participation to national and international conferences and through the use of mass media;
- Coadiuvate the process of internazionalization of the University.
Upon my arrival as Director, in collaboration with the Deans and the Vice Presidents, I have been promoting several Erasmus and Exchange Agreements with some European and American Universities. I have been also promoting the brand of the University through collaboration with national and international companies, including also the promotion of two potential spin-off. Finally, I have been present in the medias and in the society in general through some conferences to professionals and politics, and some articles published on several newspapers.
I have been invitaed as Visiting Professor at the biggest open University in Bangkok, with more than 1.500.000 students. I gave classes both to MBA and undergraduate students, teaching the following:
- Human Resource Management: international MBA;
- International Business: international MBA;
- Principles of Management: Degree in Management;
- Operation Management: Degree in Management.
I joined the University as Associate Professor of Management, in September 2009. Since joining the University, I have been adding new tasks and responsibilities due to my entrepreneurial character. In fact, when I joined the University I felt the need to put together the University and other important stakeholders, such as companies, and public administration. To further this aim, I created the Foro CEU Empresa, a monthly conference with participation by important speaker including, among others, the President of Geox, the President of Siemens – Spain, the President of Freixenet, the President of Lladró, etc.
For this format I have been awarded for the “best innovation in education” by the University CEU Cardenal Herrera. As of today, I have organized more than 15 conferences for Students, Professors, Professionals, Public Administration and Companies. I am also collaborating with other like-minded professionals for the organization of other professional conferences, such as the Annual Conference for Entrepreneurs of the Valencian Region, where typical participants could include the president of international banks, former ministers, and presidents of universities.
I am member of the Board of Directors of the Global Business Research Symposium and I have been leading the organization of the last International Conference held in Valencia, May 2013. I have also actively participated in the organization of the professional meeting/conference between Russian Authorities and relevant companies and Valencian companies. I was also working closely with diplomatic authorities. In fact, I have been promoting an agreement among the University and the Counsels in Valencia for the internships, and I have been also promoting two international sponsorships for international students in collaboration with two Embassies in Spain.
I was also active in fundraising including the creation of the English Chair of investigation in Modern Oncology, in collaboration with the Javea Cancer Center.
In addition to that, I have created and developed a program to promote the culture of entrepreneurship, creating and leading the program CEU Emprende. As of today, the Program has been introduced as one of the two leading strategies for the overall Foundation CEU San Pablo, including activities at the other Universities and at the Colleges. Finally, I have been named Director of International Relations.
I have also actively involved in helping companies to develop strategies and to train managers in leadership skills and talent development.
During these intese years, I have been giving conferences to a vast public, including TV and Radio interviews. During this time I have published more than 70 articles in several newspapers.
In this short but intensive period, I have also published different scientific articles, two books on the topic of management, and I am completing other two management books: one related to the talent development and another related to leadership.
Last, but not least, in 2012 I was awarded two times by the University and by the San Pablo Foundation for the best innovation in teaching. In the same year I received the Best Paper Award by the Global Business Reaserch Symposium Board of Directors.
In less than 3 years I was able to lunch several high-potential programs that have definitively shaped the University and added tremendous values to the programs, attracting new students. I have been promoting and creating a new chair in Oncology. I have been developing an important net of professional who stil cooperate with the University as Professionals and/or International Advisors. I have been also promoting internships programs, signing several agreements with national and international companies. In addition to that, I was able to raise the number of international students (excluding Erasmus students) from 1% to 15%. Finally my personal contribution to the brand through the presence on the media has been valued more than 500,000$.
During this period of time I have developed/reinforced the following skills:

- Public Relations with high profile stakeholders;
- International Strategy and Globalization;
- Coaching and Mentoring;
- Public Speaking;
- Public Media Intervention;
- Development of synergies.
I entered at the Military Academy at the age of 18 years old. At 22 I was already commanding a company of 120 marines with the rank of Lieutenant, and at the age of 26, with the rank of Captain, I was commanding a company of 450 volunteers.When I was 24 years old, he was called back at the Military Academy to participate in the education of new officers.
In the following years I have been working Training Officer, Human Resources Officer, Staff Officer, Purchasing Officer, Public Relations Officer, Logistics Officer, Project Management and Professor of Strategic Management.
PROJECT OFFICER FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE MASTER IN STRATEGIC SCIENCES:
when I was 30 years old, I participated as project manager for the establishment of the new Master in Strategic Sciences organized by the Italian Army in collaboration with the University of Turin.I was responsable for launching new graduate programs, including the revision of core curriculum, and the implementation of a new campus facilities plan. In particular, as Project Officer I just received the "keys" of the new building, meaning only empty spaces, and in six months I was able to be present at the inauguration of the first ever Master for Staff Officers. During these six months, I had to: - hire professors; - buy computers, internet connection, chairs, table, etc., - fix the schedule of the Master, - prepare the Case Study, - definign the policy for evaluation and exams, - prepare the organizational design, - and all the other activities related to the opening of a new Campus. It is worthy to say that during this period of time, I was working alone.
I have also been working at international level with first class International/Regional Organizations, like UNITED NATIONS, NATO, and EUROFOR. During this period of time I published several articles about new management skills for soldiers, and a commentary article analyzing the NATO Operation in Natural Disaster (Pakistan 2005).
Recently I have been participating in the first ever experiment made by NATO to introduce Subject Matter Expert in NATO HQs. I participated as member of the new comprehensive approach team, as responsible of Development, including Infrastructes, Economy, Education, etc.
During these years I have developed the following skills:
