Manufacture, store, and distribute blood products.Perform quality control on products, reagents, equipment, and
various test kits. Tracks the quantities of QC testing performed to meet ARC and regulatory requirements.
Maintain equipment, reagents, and other stock to assure the quality and accuracy of laboratory test procedures.
Perform the quarantine and disposition of unacceptable products. Ensure products are suitable for release for
distribution. Actively participate in problem solving on cross-functional teams.
Communicate directly and precisely with donors and staff in order to manage and resolve issues. Provides
timely, accurate, and helpful answers to donor and staff inquiries regarding eligibility, complications arising from
the donation, complaints, and other concerns. Follows up with issues until closure. Investigates discrepancies in
donor records and corrects, updates, and verifies changes to ensure appropriate entry and confidential handling
of data. Identifies products needing to be quarantined. Identifies products for release for supervisory review.
Manufacture, store, and distribute blood products. Performed supervisory reviews of regulated documents, logs,
and forms as directed. Fill in for supervisor as needed.
Currently, I am completing my Master's in Public Health. With an extensive background in blood banking, I would like to change my career and focus on working in the field of Diabetes Prevention.
