My experience has mostly been in the academic realm having entered a Ph.D. program immediately after I finished my Bachelors. I spent a summer interning at Google in the Santa Monica office, and I will be starting a full time position at their main Mountain View office in September of 2009. My goal is to work on the cutting edge of quantitative decision making working with large data sets. This includes data visualization, statistical learning methods, and model building both utilizing existing methodology and developing new algorithms. I love being immersed in a new data set making numerous discoveries.
