Summary

Currently I am a sophomore in the College of Human Environmental Sciences studying to become a Registered Dietician at the University of Alabama. I began my education at Auburn University to study Pre-pharmacy; however, it did not take me long to discover that my true calling was Food and Nutrition. Once I realized my obsession with a healthy lifestyle could be applied in a career field, I knew I had found my niche.

Goals

Shortterm:

  • Complete the required coursework involved not only with becoming a Registered Dietician, but to also complete the coursework needed to continue into a medical professional graduate program
  • Consistently apply new knowledge of the constantly evolving world of nutrition to my life and others
  • Continually build up my resume in order to secure a Dietetics Internship whether it be with the University of Alabama or one I seek out privately

Longterm:

  • Find a job promoting my freshly acquired skills as a Registered Dietician but to also create a balance for furthering my education and completing Chiropractic training while gaining work experience
  • Become a certified Chiropractor and build my own practice incorporating both sets of skills
  • Build a clientele that will be provided with meal plans and absent of body aches and pains
