Acting as Project Leader for Managing, executing and ramping up various Green Field projects and Productivity Improvement at different capacities of the group.
ÄNew Plant Set up (Green Field Project) at Madurai (Tamilnadu):- Set up New Plant for Consumer Electronics & Home Appliances.
üFront End Engineering Design (FEED). Preparing of Plant Layout, Product wise manufacturing process and Equipment list finalisation. Utilities requirement for each product, Preparation of Utility Matrix, sizing of Utilities Equipments, Preparation of Equipments specifications & Tender documents, Floating enquiries & tenders, Technical & Commercial bids analysis and finalising Vendor/suppliers.
üPreparation of Piping & Instrument Diagrams (P & ID) as related to Utilities and HVAC systems. Perform heating/ cooling load and ventilation calculations and analysis.
üPreparing master schedules of the project including resource schedules, execution methodologies, cash flow projections / budgets and periodic monitoring.
üProject Planning, scheduling, progress monitoring and site management.
üCreate and communicate project plans, tasks and deliverables andmanage time to meet project deadlines. This includes reportingpertinent information at key milestones through clear, concise,oral andwritten communications.
üCoordinating with Project Consultant, Architects, Structural Engineers, Civil, Electrical & Mechanical Contractors for any review and Timely completion of project.
üAnchoring on-site construction activities to ensure completion of project within the time & cost parameters and effective resource utilization to maximize the output.
üManaging the project in shepherd and coordinating all aspects of the project from design, engineering, approvals, procurement, construction, safety, commissioning, and on-going operations.
üHandling installation & commissioning of Plant Facilities / Utility Services such as i.e. 22 KV HT Yard, HT Panel & Battery Charger Room, Sub-station /Control Room, 2.5 MW Transformers, 1000 KVA DG Set, 800 Ton Cooling Tower, 400 CFM Compressor, 300 Ton Chillers, Pumps, Fire Fighting System, Water Treatment Plant, ETP/STP Plant and complete HT/LTelectrical installation in the plant.
üOverseeing entire aspects of MEP deliverables and coordinating with MEP construction team.
üLiaising with State Govt. Departments like Electricity Board, Pollution Control Board, etc. for statutory approval.
Ä5MW Solar Plant Set up at Jodhpur ( Rajasthan)-
Responsible for execution & supervision of Electrical, Mechanical & Civil work e.g. Land Preparation ,Sigma pole erection, Module mounting , DC cable Laying ,Cable termination , foundation preparation, installation of 33 KV HT Yard , 1600 KVA Transformers , 720 KVA Inverters , Control Room preparation, HT panels Installation, Auxiliary transformer ,HT cables laying & Termination , 15 KM Long Transmission line Erection and connecting to 33 KV grid at power house. Commissioning of all electrical equipments, generating power and supply to 33KV grid.
ÄProductivity Improvement at Kashipur Plant (Uttarakhand) :-
Study of “AS IS” Manufacturing Process of Washing Machine , Implementing “TO BE” Process, Re-Layout, Takt Time and Manpower calculation, Line Balancing (Heijunka) , Implementing TOYOTA Production System, 5 S , Implementation of T5S Maps and area Ownership, Implementation Lean Manufacturing ( JIT), Line Stop ( JIDOKA), Visual Management, Introduction of jigs & Fixtures , strengthening critical stages, Reduced Line defects and FCR, Store Re-arrangement , Removal of un necessary / un wanted Material from store area and Improved Storage system, Improve component handling system, Improvement in working environment through Lighting and Ventilation system. Productivity increased by 50% i.e. 800 to 1200 No’s / 8 Hrs / shift.
