Freelance Translator

I have done projects for two different medical technology sites. I translated their English material into French to accommodate French Canadian visitors. I am meticulous, I even studied Quebecois MedTech journals to see which medical jargon was preferred.

At the University of Victoria Bookstore, I process transactions efficiently and quickly while ensuring excellent customer service. The bookstore has lines of more than 100 people long around the beginning of each semester, so I am well-versed in crowd management and working under pressure.

As a server at Dejavous, I was responsible for ensuring VIP guests had the best experience possible. I set up their private tables, as well as served them beverages throughout the night. I frequently bussed tables as well. As a beer tub attendant, I sold a variety of beverages from a smaller bar in the lounge.
