Internship) IT Help Desk Technician-Responsible for: (Spiceworks Helpdesk Systems) Monitor and support the ticket queue. Second level tier to the helpdesk, to address escalated support issues as well as assist the front line Help Desk. Installation, updates and troubleshooting a variety of software Resolving hardware, software and networking issues for computers and peripherals. Reimaging and deployment of computers Logging and keeping good records of Inventory and computer supplies Support remote and traveling users via remote login and phone Answer calls placed to the Service Desk, gather information and make tickets from the information gathered Prepare new hires' computers with all necessary hardware and software components, and create their accounts. Support the operation and setup of the workstations, printers, servers and network. Support the operation of computer peripherals such as scanners, faxes, switches, wireless routers, and mobile devices. Document reoccurring problems and identify the root cause to find solutions.
