- Design and delivery of PD sessions to support teachers in tertiary sector.
There’s this misconception that teacher development has to be a big complicated process, but it’s just not true.
I specialise in performance development for English Language teachers, helping language schools retain staff and students by creating and delivering tailored teacher development programmes, as well as working within assessed courses such as the Trinity Certificate and Diploma in TESOL.
My process is collaborative, rather than prescriptive, and focuses on helping each teacher find their own best selves as practitioners and professionals. You’re not going to get an out-of the box solution from me, but rather a bespoke experience where I leverage my own wide range to encourage high performance.

I am responsible for the management and activities of the IATEFL Teacher Development Special Interest Group. Together with a committee of six, I work to enable and encourage all categories of teacher to take more responsibility for their professional and personal growth through their careers. This is done via our online spaces, our members newsletter and our events, both face-to-face and online
