Interests

Cooking & Food Not Bombs: I am one of the founders of local anti-waste movement Food Not Bombs Istanbul. The activities of the group include: collecting leftover food from markets and bazaars, cooking, sharing while engaging communication with wide range of people from the communities such as refugees, homeless people, and children.

Ecology & Animal Rights: I am vegan since 2014 and supporting animal rights advocacy groups since then. With those organizations, I had a chance to learn how to manage legal paper works, moulding public opinion, and carrying out campaigns. Also, I am interested in and occasionally practicing ecological/simple living practices and organic farming methods.

Music and Radio:  I sang in several amateur music bands for almost five years. I have been writing album reviews, biographies, and essays about Rock and Jazz music, since 2012, for various blogs and music sites both in English and Turkish. Also, I prepared and presented radio shows between 2012 and 2016 for KURadyo and RadioFil.
